Thank you so much for visiting my website!

As a Mainer, I grew up surrounded by woods and water, always fascinated by trees and the beauty of the natural world. I didn’t discover my path as a woodworker right away, though. After earning my master’s degree in teaching, I spent six years in the classroom before stepping away to spend eight wonderful years at home with my two children.
During that time, I found myself dreaming up ways to change and improve our home. After buying a table saw and band saw, I realized that woodworking was not only the fastest way to bring those ideas to life—it was also a passion I hadn’t known was waiting for me.
When my youngest started kindergarten full time, I returned to school and earned a degree in fine woodworking. What began as a way to create pieces for my own home has grown into a craft I’m deeply grateful to share with others.
